Document Controller

Astatine Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Master Document Registers (MDRs) and ensuring compliance with internal document naming conventions. The candidate will also be responsible for the enforcement and updating of these naming standards within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and coordinating the timely submission and delivery of project documentation in line with MDR requirements. This role is critical to supporting efficient project execution and maintaining high standards of document control and quality across all phases of EPC and development projects. The candidate would be co-ordinating between the project manager and engineering teams.

  • Location: Hybrid working model – Work from Astatine’s offices located in Guinness Enterprise Centre, Dublin 8 or client sites when required.

  • Working Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update Master Document Registers (MDRs) for all projects.
  • Ensure all documents comply with established naming standards and company procedures.
  • Track, monitor and report document progress to ensure timely delivery according to MDR schedules.
  • Management of internal databases including full reporting capabilities, data manipulation and analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage document workflows and review processes.
  • Develop, implement and enforce document control processes and best practices within the ACC environment.
  • Support audits and quality checks related to document management.
  • Training and induction into document control systems for new users.
  • Manage the issuing of documentation to clients and 3rd parties.
  • Requirements
  • 3+ years or proven experience in document control (within EPC or development firms preferred but not required).
  • Strong understanding of document management systems and MDR processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/365 applications essential (particularly Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience with construction management software is a bonus (e.g, ACC, Procore).
  • Knowledge of document control platforms is a bonus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams with clear communication.
