Astatine has partnered with Coca-Cola, a global beverage company, to accelerate the decarbonisation of their manufacturing facility in County Mayo. Our innovative contributions include designing and developing a Solar System, High Temperature Heat Pump, and Battery Storage solution.
Key Results:
- ~23 MW Solar PV System installed.
- 8 battery storage containers.
- 16 MW BESS
- ~18,300 MWh annual energy production.
- Annual CO2 reduction of ~4,600,000 kg.
- A reduction in energy consumption equivalent to the annual electricity usage of 1,150 homes.
Project Highlights:
Astatine’s LCOE Modelling enables an 80% reduction in Coca-Cola’s energy costs, achieving unmatched energy savings and a remarkable 80% reduction in carbon emissions.
The installation was commissioned as part of Coca-Cola’s sustainability efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. We will continue to collaborate with them, helping to identify further opportunities for decarbonisation.
